Furnace Installation and Replacement in Arlington, TX

A furnace replacement in Arlington is usually paired with the air conditioner, because the same air handler or coil has to move air for both seasons. Boost Air And Plumbing installs gas and electric furnaces. We do not install boilers.

Repair or replace

A failed ignitor or flame sensor is a repair. A cracked heat exchanger, a furnace that is repeatedly shutting down, or a cabinet that is rusted through is a replacement conversation. We quote the repair first when the furnace is still a reasonable candidate.

Those repairs are described on the furnace repair page, including ignitors, blower motors, flame sensors, control boards, and gas valves.

Gas and electric furnaces

Most houses we work on in Arlington have gas furnaces. The installation includes the venting, the gas connection, the condensate on a high-efficiency furnace, and a combustion check after startup. Electric furnaces are less common here and are quoted when that is the equipment the house uses.

We do not install or replace boilers, and we do not convert a boiler house to hydronic heat. If you need forced-air heat, a furnace or a heat pump is the work we do.

Matching the furnace to the cooling system

Replacing only the furnace can leave an old coil and an old condenser that were never a matched set. When both are due, we quote them together so the blower, the coil, and the outdoor unit are selected as one system.

Duct capacity still matters. A new furnace cannot push the right airflow through crushed or disconnected ducts. If the ducts need repair, that is called out in the quote rather than hidden inside the equipment price. See duct repair and sealing.

Permits and startup

Arlington requires a permit for a furnace replacement. We pull it, schedule the inspection, and meet the inspector. After startup we check temperature rise, the drain on condensing furnaces, and the thermostat setup.

Financing is available on qualifying installations. Ask for the current options when you call. The equipment price itself is in the written quote, not a number we publish on this page.
